Cyryx College pursues international partnerships and linkages so that our students will benefit from the international recognition of our courses.

Our international partnerships also help our students to facilitate transfer of course credits towards their respective degree courses, and to utilize our qualifications as entry requirements into degree courses.

HELP University College, Malaysia

HELP University College offers a wide and diverse range of programs covering business, law, management, economics, IT, social sciences and the humanities at undergraduate and graduate levels. Help University College has assessed Cyryx Diploma in Office Management & Administration and Diploma in Information In Technology for advanced standing in Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) (Hons) and Bachelors in Information Technology (Hons). Students will be granted nine subjects exemption and will be required to complete eighteen subjects in two years time.

• Social and Business Communication
• Programming Principles
• System Analysis & Design
• Multimedia Authoring & Development

Students will be required to study the following two subjects for completion of first year.

• IT and Entrepreneurship

• Introduction to Programming in java

RMIT, Australia

RMIT University, Australia recognizes Cyryx College Diploma in Software Engineering and Diploma in Information Technology for Advanced standing in degree programmes. It was done after a thorough assessment of the diploma syllabi and assessment documents. Students with Diploma in Information Technology OR Software Engineering will be given an Advanced Standing of 144 Credit Points (1.5 Years) Or three semesters.

Following are the degree programmes which are considered for credit points:

• Bachelor of Information Technology (Application Programming)
• Bachelor of Information Technology (System Administration)
• Bachelor of Information Technology (Network Programming)
• Bachelor of Information Technology (Web Systems) Bachelor of Technology (Computer Studies)

Binary University, Malaysia

Cyryx College and Binary University signs a Memorandum of Understanding through which students of Cyryx Diploma programmes will be given one year exemptions in the following courses:

• BA (Hons) Business Management
• BSc (Hons) Computer Science
• BSc (Hons) Management of Technology

SRM University, Chennai, India

Through a Memorandum of Understanding with SRM University, Chennai, India, students with Cyryx Diploma in IT will be able to enter directly into the 2nd year of the 4 year B.Tech degree at SRM University. SRM University is a major university with 17,500 students on a large, modern suburban campus that offers a highly-respected 4 year B.Tech degree.

Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT)

Through an Agreement of Cooperation, students with a Cyryx Diploma in IT can enter directly into year 2 of APIIT's 3-year B.Sc (Hons) Degree in Computing, Software Engineering, Internet Technology, Business IT, and E-Commerce and Mobile Computing. Cyryx Diploma students who receive marks above 90% in overall standing will also receive 50% tuition fee discount from APIIT. All Cyryx students will receive 10% discount on tuition fees at APIIT. APIIT offers an accredited 3 year degree from Staffordshire University, UK, that is recognized by international employers and universities.

Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia

Cyryx College and Limkokwing University has signed Memorandum of Understanding on Transfer of Academic Credit. Under this Memorandum, Limkokwing University recognizes Diplomas (Multimedia, Information Technology, Software Engineering & Business Management) offered by Cyryx College to be an acceptable prerequisite for entry into Year 2,

Semester 1 of the respective Bachelors programs at Limkokwing University. Students must be recommended by CYRYX, after which an evaluation and assessment along with a personal interview will take place. Students are required to have an English language proficiency of either credit in GCE “A” level or satisfy the English entry requirement as set by the University.

The students holding Cyryx Diploma in Information Technology are eligible for admission with advanced standing (entry level Year 2 Semester 1) into the following programmes offered at Limkokwing University.

• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Information Technology
• Bachelor Science (Hons) in Business Information Technology
• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mobile Computing
• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Information Communication Technology.

The students holding Cyryx Diploma in Software Engineering are eligible for admission with advanced standing (entry level Year 2 Semester 1) into the following programmes offered at Limkokwing University.

• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Software Engineering with Multimedia
• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Information Technology
• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mobile Computing

The students holding Diploma in Office Management and Administration are eligible for admission with advanced standing (entry level Year 2 Semester 1) into the following

programmes.

• Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Business Administration
• Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Marketing
• Bachelor of Business (Hons) in International Business
• Bachelor Business (Hons) in Entrepreneurship

Cyryx College was awarded the “college status” by the Government of Maldives in 2009, in consideration of its institutional development and quality of education offered.

Cyryx College courses lead to qualifications approved by Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA). All the courses at Cyryx College are designed according to the National Qualifications Framework and all courses are linked to each other to facilitate students to move up the qualifications ladder.

Cyryx courses are approved by the Maldives Qualifications Authority, and our qualifications are accepted by Government and private employers. In addition, our international partners accept our qualifications for credit transfer and admission purposes.

Academic programs and courses at Cyryx College are designed and developed under the framework of MNQF to provide students with the freedom to enroll according to their previous/current qualifications.
